Burn, Rewrite, or Reread?

Okay... I know it's been a really, really long time since I've done a book tag. I really do love them, but I just hadn't been tagged for a book tag that I hadn't already done until Kayla from The Thousand Lives tagged me to do the Burn, Rewrite, or Reread tag!

I was kind of confused about the rules, so I'm going with what Kayla went with because she made it seem a lot less confusing.
There are three different rounds, and I'll use a random number generator for my "read" shelf on Goodreads for three books. From there, I'll decide if I want to burn, rewrite, or reread those books.

 Round One

Burn - I'd burn The List by Siobhan Vivian. While I really thought that the book would be interesting, it really wasn't. I think it would have made a much better made-for-TV-movie.
Rewrite - I'd only rewrite Keep Holding On by Susane Colasanti because I don't remember anything about it. It's definitely not a good thing if I don't remember a book.
Reread - I'd reread Bittersweet by Sarah Ockler multiple times. I just loved the mulch-faceted story she wrote.

Round Two

Burn - Okay... so don't kill me here, but out of the choices I was given, I'd burn Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. It's not that I didn't like it, but I just felt like so much of it was boring.
Rewrite - I'd have to rewrite Sisterhood Everlasting by Ann Brashares because of the sad event that happens in the book. I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it, but I'm sure those of you who have read it will know why.
Reread - I'd reread and have reread The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. It's my favorite book, and I will cherish it forever.

Round Three

Burn - I feel like I'm a black sheep about this, but I would burn Dash & Lily's Book of Dares because Lily was so annoying. She made the book unbearable for me.
Rewrite - Even though I really enjoyed Rainbow Rowell's Eleanor & Park, I'd rewrite the ending so it was a bit more emotional.
Reread - Again, I'm thinking I'm going to be a black sheep for this one because I really liked Allegiant by Veronica Roth. I'd definitely revisit this one for the story, even though I'm sure I'd still be annoyed by the similar narrating voices.

Alright... I tag:

  1. I think I would rewrite the endin to Eleanor and Park too. I loved the book, but the ending was so annoying. I wanted more information.

    1. It's such a good book, and I love that it was open-ended at the end, but I was really expecting a lot more to clarify it. I wanted to know more about how Park felt when he got that letter from Eleanor.

  3. I haven’t read ANY Sarah Ockler, but I’ve heard that Bittersweet is amazing. I guess I’ll have to read it eventually :P

AHHH but Catching Fire was the best in the series! In my opinion, lol. But yeah next to Perks that’s a hard choice O_O

I still haven’t read Eleanor & Park, even though I’ve had a copy on my shelves for more than a year now, haha! Allegiant is a hard choice for me… on one hand I loved it, but on the other hand I was like really, that’s it??

    1. I love Sarah Ockler! Twenty Boy Summer is the best, but all of her books are amazing.

It was my least favorite of the three when I read them. I might have to reread it just to see.

I felt like that about Allegiant too, but she set herself up to create a really good spin-off with Four as the sole narrator. I would totally read that.

  5. Totally agree with Dash and Lily! I really didn't enjoy that one at all, but it seems like everyone else LOVED it, so I'm glad I wasn't the only one :p

    1. You are definitely not the only one who didn't like it. I know of me, Lauren, now you, and Tika.

    1. Oh, I know so many people out there who would agree with you. I just thought it was so bold for Roth to end it the way she did. I would have never expected it in the first book, but it was ballsy and had people talking.

Yeah... Dash & Lily isn't anything spectacular, but Perks is amazing! It's my favorite!

  7. I'm most surprised by round 3. You'd re-read Allegiant? OMG, I tried to re-read the series. I got through Divergent with only one night staying up and worrying. I read Insurgent, and I felt better, kind of. Nearer the end I almost started crying. Allegiant... I read the first chapter, and i couldn't read on. I loved it so much, I hated it. If that makes sense.

    1. Out of the three choices the random number generator gave me, yes. I think I gave that one three stars. I didn't like the narration, but I really enjoyed the plot.

  9. This is fun! :) Gosh I need to read Veronica Roth's novels - I'm mainly just super curious about the ending, because it is such a divisive book!

    1. I was a huge fan of Veronica's books, but I definitely can see why there is so much turmoil about the ending of the third one. I went back and forth on my feelings for weeks before I finally had a firm grip on it.
