Top Ten Tuesday (19)

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created and hosted by the bloggers at The Broke and the Bookish. They created the meme because they love making and sharing lists. Well that's just one thing that I have in common with them because list making is essential to my life.

Every week, there is a new topic for Top Ten Tuesday, and all you have to do is create your top ten list (or somewhere around ten if you can't think of ten) based on it. Oh, and be sure to link back to The Broke and the Bookish! Then you can add your name to the link up tool that they include in their post!

Ten Books I Recently Added to My TBR:

So I have a mix of released and upcoming books for this week's Top Ten Tuesday. Some of these are books that have been getting a lot of attention lately, so I'm very interested in them (The Orphan Queen, We All Looked Up, Mosquitoland, The Wrong Side of Right), and some are books that I am just very interested in reading (and soon). I'm also curious about the similarities in We All Looked Up and All We Have Is Now, so I will probably read those two back to back when the latter is released.

  1. I'm off to a good start with Mosquitoland, so I hope you'll enjoy it too when you get to it. :)

  2. I’m REALLY looking forward to Making Pretty, even if I’m still not sure I’ve actually read the synopsis… I jus love Haydu’s writing :D I’m also waiting for some more reviews for The Night We Said Yes and the uhhh… other yellow one. Blanking on the title right now. But I hope they're great because I want to read them as well!

    1. I've never read anything by her, but I had a chance to review it and took it.

I haven't seen many reviews for The Night We Said Yes, but it seems like it should be an interesting read. The other yellow one is The Cost of All Things.

Plus it's kind of funny to see how similar the covers are for those books. Just groups of teens on the front - I like it.

    1. Thanks, Lauren! I'm definitely going to schedule most of them for the next month or so over the long weekend. :)

I add books to my TBR based on their covers sometimes, too. I know they say not to, but it's so hard to say no to a book with a beautiful cover.

    1. Thank you, Val! I threw those together at the last minute because I didn't want to miss another TTT. lol

I actually almost bought We All Looked Up today, but I put it back until after I babysit this weekend. I might have to take a drive to Barnes & Noble for The Wrong Side of Right, though. Target doesn't have it. :(

  5. Oh my gosh, so I want to read like all of these books. I'm actually in the middle of We All Looked Up, then I'll be reading Making Pretty. And then three others that are listed here because I have e-arcs for them, haha.

Oh my gosh, does The Wrong Side of Right have the most gorgeous cover or what? It DOES. I love it. I bought it, I need to read it soon. Sometime. Eventually. This year.

All We Have Is Now's cover is great too. Also, AWHIN reminds me of WALU too! :D I'm not sure if that's good or bad but whatever, pretty covers.

I want to read Mosquitoland too.

    1. YAY! I love when someone has a very similar taste in books! Are you liking We All Looked Up? I put it back today, but I am definitely going to get it this weekend.

The Wrong Side of Right does have a gorgeous cover! I love that pink into orange. I just need to find it somewhere in stores!

Yes... I really like the cover for AWHIN. There are a lot of covers with similar looks (like that) this year. I'm not sure if it's good or bad either, but it's pretty funny that two authors pitched similar books and both got published in the same year.
