Why I'm Waiting...
I'm not going to lie... I was sold at "The Scarlet Letter meets Divergent." Way back during my junior year of high school, we read The Scarlet Letter, and I was one of the only kids in the class who enjoyed it. I loved reading about how Hester was treated and ostracized. It was definitely one of my favorite assigned books. After I read the synopsis for Flawed, I knew this was a book that I wanted to read because this is the type of book I've always wanted someone to write (spoiler alert... I tried to write something like this and failed!). I can't wait to see how Celestine deals with everything thrown at her, and I'm sure that I'll be reading the rest of this series if I enjoy Flawed.
Now thanks to my good friend Emma, I won't have to wait very long to read this one because she sent me an ARC for Christmas! Check back soon for a review.
