Lara Jean's love life goes from imaginary to out of control in this heartfelt novel from the New York Times bestselling author of The Summer I Turned Pretty series.

What if all the crushes you ever had found out how you felt about them... all at once?

Lara Jean Song keeps her love letters in a hatbox her mother gave her. They aren't love letters that anyone else wrote for her; these are ones she's written. One for every boy she's ever loved—five in all. When she writes, she pours out her heart and soul and says all the things she would never say in real life, because her letters are for her eyes only. Until the day her secret letters are mailed, and suddenly, Lara Jean's love life goes from imaginary to out of control.

My Review

Even though I've seen some of the books written by Jenny Han before, I never picked one up until now. I've always wanted to read them and see what she writes about, but I just never got around to it. I still do want to read her other books. This one just seemed really interesting and appealed to me the most.

To All the Boys I've Loved Before is a book that has a little bit of everything in it. Yes, there is romance and drama, but it is also a tale about three sisters who are growing up without their mother. I just love books about family, so I had to see how Ms. Han wrote about a non-traditional family.

I enjoyed this book for many reasons, and it was a book that I didn't want to put down. I found myself enjoying the tale of Lara Jean's "love life" so much because it's just so quirky. I love how this girl decided to keep everything, and then panics when her love letters get sent. I laughed. I cried. I loved this book.

It is a cute story, and by cute, I mean cute. Lara Jean starts off by acting a bit immature, but then again, she was raised by her dad and sister. I was able to forgive her immaturity for that. It is a beautiful contemporary young adult novel. I loved that the main character Lara Jean is not your typical female book character. I also love when authors include sisters in books. I don't know why because I only have one sister. But Margot, Lara Jean, and Kitty are absolutely an adorable trio of sisters.

I am very much looking forward to the sequel, P.S. I Still Love You. I can't wait to find out what happens to Lara Jean and Peter. And I really want to see what happens to Margot and Josh.

I really did love it. Have you read it yet? I'm almost finished with the sequel now, and I'm just so sad for this story to end. It's been a cute ride.
