For my WOW post this week, I'm visiting another author who has been previously featured in my Waiting on Wednesday posts. Actually, her last book was the first book that I featured on my blog for Waiting on Wednesday. Can you guess? Or did you cheat?
Title: Vanishing Girls
Author: Lauren Oliver
Expected Publication: March 10, 2015
Synopsis:
New York Times bestselling author Lauren Oliver delivers a gripping story about two sisters inexorably altered by a terrible accident.
Dara and Nick used to be inseparable, but that was before the accident that left Dara's beautiful face scarred and the two sisters totally estranged. When Dara vanishes on her birthday, Nick thinks Dara is just playing around. But another girl, nine-year-old Madeline Snow, has vanished, too, and Nick becomes increasingly convinced that the two disappearances are linked. Now Nick has to find her sister, before it's too late.
In this edgy and compelling novel, Lauren Oliver creates a world of intrigue, loss, and suspicion as two sisters search to find themselves, and each other.

Yes... Lauren can write. I've read all of her books but Rooms, but as soon as I find it, I am going to read it. And I know what you mean. Books about sisters are just so special. I have a Goodreads shelf just for them. lol
DeleteThanks for sharing Erin :) This book sounds like an awesome read and I shall add it to my ever growing TBR list!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day x

I have never actually read a Lauren Oliver book. But this one sounds intriguing. I'll probably check it out.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Really? Lauren Oliver was my gateway into contemporary YA. I won Before I Fall on Goodreads, and then quickly ordered Delirium. I love her work.
DeleteYou'll have to let me know if you ever read her.
I have yet to read anything by Lauren Oliver but this is one I'm really looking forward to picking up! Great pick.
ReplyDeleteMy WoW
Lauren Oliver is one of my favorite authors. I can't wait to get it.
DeleteI hope you enjoy it if you read it.
Pretty sure this is my pick for this week as well! I'm definitely looking forward to it, although I tend to either LOVE her books or dislike them.
ReplyDeleteI've loved or strongly liked all of her books. It's weird because I never would have knew about her unless I won Before I Fall from Goodreads.
DeleteThis one just seems like it might be the next big thing from her. I love the synopsis and the fact that it's about sisters.
