2016 Love-A-Thon: An Invitation to Tea

The 2016 Love-a-Thon is hosted by Alexa from Alexa Loves Books, Cee from The Novel Hermit, Hazel from Stay Bookish, and Mel from The Daily Prophecy

During the past two days, book bloggers from all over the world have been participating in the event. There have been Twitter chats, challenges, and commenting sprees to spread love and positivity in our little corner of the Internet.

Mini Challenge #4: An Invitation to Tea

If I had the chance to invite anyone from the bookish community to tea, it would have to be the one and only Emma Watson. (I'm a huge Emma Watson fangirl!) Okay... I know I'm pushing the limits here because Emma isn't a blogger, author, bookstagrammer, booktuber, or anything else that we're known for in this community, but hear me out, okay?

We all know that Emma is an extremely talented actress, but that's not all! She's also an extremely dedicated activist who stands up for women's rights. But once again, that's not all! Emma is also very well read. If you've been following her on Twitter, I'm sure you've seen some of her tweets about  the books that she's read and loved. Some of them include The Fault in Our Stars, The Queen of the Tearling, Love Letters to the Dead, and The Opposite of Loneliness. She's also started a feminist book club called Our Shared Shelf on Goodreads where members can join and read along with Emma.

Now I realize that I will probably never have tea with Emma, and unless she comes back to Pittsburgh to film another movie, which won't be for a while, I'll probably never meet her. However, if I got the chance to have tea with her, I'm sure we'd have so much to talk about - women's rights, politics, books, music, and pretty much everything under the sun because Emma and I actually have a lot in common.

So, Emma Watson, if you ever find this post or stumble upon me on Goodreads, just know that I admire you for so much more than your acting skills, and I'd love to have tea with you. (Although I might not actually drink the tea... Oops!)
