Last Monday, I announced that I'd be participating in Penguin Teen's summer blog feature entitled The Blog Most Likely To. The feature, which asks bloggers to come up with a superlative for their blog, showcases the many bloggers who are excited for Huntley Fitzpatrick's upcoming book, The Boy Most Likely To, a companion novel to Huntley's My Life Next Door.
In case you missed my original post, I announced that my blog's superlative would be to read Huntley Fitzpatrick's debut novel, My Life Next Door. I also announced that I'd be reading Huntley's sophomore novel, What I Thought Was True. During the month, I'll be unveiling a few posts related to Huntley's books as I wait to get my hands on a copy of The Boy Most Likely To.
Today, I give you my first update on my reading of My Life Next Door. We'll be taking a road trip to Connecticut to explore some of the places that Fitzpatrick mentions in My Life Next Door.
Below, you'll find a postcard from Stony Bay, a menu from Breakfast Ahoy (the restaurant where Samantha works), and one of Grace Reed's old political signs.

Keep an eye out for more posts on The Hardcover Lover this month for My Life Next Door. There will be some quote graphics, and I'll also be reviewing the novel. And be sure to enter the giveaway below for your chance to win a copy of My Life Next Door and an ARC of The Boy Most Likely To by Huntley Fitzpatrick.

That menu is adorable! Actually, they're all awesome! I hope you're enjoying My Life Next Door--it's one of my favorite contemporaries.

Thank you, Max! Thank you so much! I had such a hard time trying to figure out how to create all of those graphics, and I wanted to do more, but I settled on those three. I love them. :)
ReplyDeleteI actually just finished reading My Life Next Door last night, and I loved it! :)
