Waiting On...

Title: A Crown of Wishes
Series: The Star-Touched Queen
Author: Roshani Chokshi
Publisher: St. Martin's Griffin
Publication Date: March 28, 2017

Fans of Roshani Chokshi’s spell-binding bestseller The Star-Touched Queen are in for a treat with the upcoming sequel A Crown of Wishes. This new novel follows Gauri, the younger sister of the titular Star-Touched Queen, on her harrowing quest for freedom.

When Gauri, the princess of Bharata, is captured by her kingdom’s rivals, she can only find help in Vikram, the cunning prince of an enemy kingdom. Unsatisfied with royal life, Vikram offers Gauri a chance to win back her kingdom in exchange for her battle prowess. They set aside their differences and team up to compete in the Tournament of Wishes, wherein the Lord of Wealth promises a wish to the victor. Every which way they turn new trials will test their wit and strength. But what Gauri and Vikram soon discover is that there’s nothing more dangerous than what they most desire.

Why I'm Waiting...

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's been waiting for Roshani Chokshi's next book, especially after seeing how magical her debut, The Star-Touched Queen was, but I am literally so excited for A Crown of Wishes

By now many of you know that fantasy and I don't usually get along. It's not that I don't like the genre, but I feel like a lot of fantasy novels are terrible at holding my interest. That was not the case for The Star-Touched Queen, and I'm sure that I will love A Crown of Wishes just as much, if not more.

I'm also really excited because Gauri was one of my favorite characters in The Star-Touched Queen, so I'm really excited that we will get a whole book that's just about her! I can't wait to see what adventure awaits her with some of these characters that I've fallen hard for.

What Are You Waiting On...

Alright, little hardcover lovers! It's your turn to let me and my readers to know what you're waiting on. Are you like me (and possibly the rest of the blogosphere) waiting on A Crown of Wishes, or has something else caught your eyes this week? Let me know in the comments, and as usual, bloggers are welcome to share links to your Waiting on Wednesday posts for this week.
